Futurama S6E13 – The Futurama Holiday Spectacular
In this Futurama holiday episode, the Planet Express building is attacked by Robot Santa on Xmas Eve, and he explains how the holiday has to be celebrated. The crew survives and revives the pine tree (which was long-extinct) upon being inspired, and obtains seeds for the regeneration from the Svalbad Global Seed Vault.

Futurama Season 6 Episode 13 Synopsis
The seeds have been contaminated by biological weapons vault nearby, and problems arise when they are planted by Fry outside Planet Express. The entire Earth is soon covered by the trees, and although initially it seems like a good thing, when the planet is turned into a beautiful, wild-life filled planet. However, too much oxygen is produced, and when Bender lights a cigar to celebrate, the Earth is burnt upon ignition.
